# Hello, I'm Dalton.

I'm a network engineer with a passion for understanding how packets move — and sometimes don't move — across the networks we build and rely on every day. I currently hold two CCNPs (Enterprise Infrastructure and Service Provider) and I'm working towards my CCIE. I created Hello, Networking! as a place to document what I learn, share practical deep-dives, and honestly just whatever else comes to mind.

Nearly a decade in, I've learned that the best way to really solidify something is to try to explain it to someone else. This blog is that exercise, made public.
